BTS garnered a lot of fans since their debut back in 2013. With their new found mega-popularity, the South Korean boy band recently got a taste of what's it like to be highly-successful and the consequences that come along with it.

It has been previously confirmed that Jin (Kim Seok-jin), Suga, (Min Yoon-gi), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), Rap Monster (Kim Nam-joon), Jimin (Park Ji-min), V (Kim Tae-hyung), and Jungkook (Jeon Jeong-guk) were set to appear at the Billboard Music Awards 2017 this May 21, Sunday. While some fans were just happy and proud for their idols to be invited in the highly-anticipated event, some took it to a whole new level.

In the hopes to be in the same flight with the BTS members, some fans obtained the bands' flight information illegally, and were invading the the South Korean boy band's privacy by trying to get seats near the members while attempting to take photos of the boys. Although some may not see anything wrong with it, this incident has definitely affected the group members which led to their management, Big Hit Entertainment, to issue a safety statement to international fans.

The said statement was posted in four different languages (English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese) to make sure that their message will be fully understood. The BTS management issued a lengthy statement where the main goal was the safety of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

"Big Hit Entertainment has taken safety and health of BTS as number one priority and thus has been doing its best to protect BTS members by allocating as many security guards as possible at the airport and inside all flights," one of the paragraphs stated. "Nevertheless, BTS members are under great mental and physical stress due to some fans' lack of discretion."
