Lelouch Lamperouge, the hero in the anime series "Code Geass" will continue with his plans to wipe out the Holy Britannian Empire as the anime's third season is reportedly coming out next year. Both seasons 1 and 2 were critically acclaimed with its massive audience and the cross conflicts showcased by the major characters being praised the most. Most fans were surprised with the anime's revival as they all thought that the hero has met his downfall in season 2. However, the English dub voice actor of Lelouch believes that the revival of the series is just all for money.

Although "Code Geass" season 3 has been announced, details of it are very scarce, leading fans to speculate especially with the anime's release date. In a thread on Reddit, some fans suggest that it should come out in late 2018 since both season 1 and 2 will be re-aired early next years. Others suggest that it might just be out early in 2019. "Probably late next year early 2019 - they're making 3 films to summarize season 1 & 2 before they make season 3," wrote one redditor.

"Code Geass" season 3 is said to pick up from the events following the Zero Requiem episode. It can be recalled that his demise was showcased in "Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" event in 2008. In April, a trailer was released for the upcoming season that delighted many fans upon seeing Lelouch alive and ready to resume his adventure.

However, despite the fans' celebration for "Code Geass" season 3, Comic Book reports that voice actor Johnny Young Bosch, the voice behind Lelouch is not as delighted as fans. When asked about his opinion of the anime's revival, Bosch believes that the revival is only being done for money as season 1 and 2 have brought a lot of fortune. He also added that even during the anime's long hiatus, it still made a lot of money.

Meanwhile, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice behind Suzaku in "Code Geass" was glad to know that there will be another installment for the popular anime series. He said that he would love to return to the series to voice Suzaku once again. However, there is no English dub order just yet for the upcoming season.
