Kaya Scodelario has been very busy working on "Maze Runner: The Death Cure", which is being filmed in South Africa. However, the former "Skins" actress still managed to find some time to fly out to Los Angeles to promote her new film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". Could Scodelario's absence add to the further delay of the "Maze Runner 3" release date?

Kaya Scodelario certainly has to dress down as Teresa in "Maze Runner 3" so fans were delighted to see the "Wuthering Heights" star all glammed up for the LA premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". Scodelario shared an awesome photo of the cast of "Dead Men Tell No Tales" on Instagram, showing off her sexy black strapless gown and red, red lips. However, some people were also somehow concerned that the actress is spending too much time away from South Africa, where "The Death Cure" is being filmed. Nevertheless, it looks like Scodelario deserves a short break with her husband and son after several months of work on the highly anticipated sequel.

CeleBeat has previously reported on Orlando Bloom flying out to Shanghai to attend the Chinese premiere on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". Most of the cast, including Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites, were all in attendance but Kaya Scodelario was notably absent. It is possible that that "Maze Runner 3" star chose to miss the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" premiere to lessen her time away from the sequel's South Africa set.

There is little doubt that Kaya Scodelario is just taking a short break in support of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" before quickly returning to South Africa to resume work on "Maze Runner 3". Scodelario will reprise her role as Teresa in "The Death Cure", which is scheduled for release on February 9, 2018.
