"Steven Universe" Season 5 return date is keeping a lot of fans wondering, as the CN series is once again on a hiatus after airing episode four titled "Lars' Head." There are rumors that the show may air new episodes in July, but many fans are fearing that it might take longer before it airs the next episodes on TV.

While fans can just sit back and wait for the "Steven Universe" Season 5 return date, Rebecca Sugar teased fans that Steven will be discovering more of his powers in the upcoming episodes. Speaking to The Verge, Sugar said that Steven has been realizing the magic Gem powers, but she would like him to understand more about the powers that human beings have.

"There are powers that people have as human beings to understand themselves and define themselves and make their own choices," she said. "Those are the kinds of powers I'm excited to have him learn how to explore."

In fact, the latest "Steven Universe" Season 5 episode has seen Steven heal Lars and bring him back to life. While this does not seem quite unusual, Lars had the same powers as Lion when he came back to life, reports Den of Geek!

The publication notes that "Steven Universe" Season 5 seems to be slowly paving the way for the resolution of issues between Steven, Rose Quartz, the Gems, and the Diamonds. Steven might use his ability to use words to defeat the Diamonds.
