After his marijuana scandal, BIGBANG’s oldest member and lead rapper, T.O.P’s name is back in the headlines again after being found unconscious from an apparent drug overdose. Fans are frantically searching for updates as his family and friends remained tight-lipped regarding the 29-year-old singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer’s current health condition.

T.O.P, real name Choi Seung-hyun, shocked the K-pop world when reports revealed that he was rushed to the hospital after being unresponsive due to alleged drug overdose and has been receiving treatment at an intensive care unit. BIG BANG fans are confused as mixed reports are being spread out on the Internet regarding the BIGBANG star’s health update.

An earlier report of MyDaily gave fans a sigh of relief as the publication shared that the Seoul Police Department have noted that “BIGBANG T.O.P, not in critical state.” Instead, the the doctor revealed that G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri’s band mate actually “overdosed on his prescribed medication,” correcting rumors that the South Korean star has committed suicide following his shocking scandal.

“He is also not in any critical condition but the medicine contains sleep-inducing substances so he is in a state of sleep,” the doctor added. “It will take 1 to 2 days for the substance to leave his body at which point he will be fit to normally carry on with his life.”

However, Koreaboo reports that T.O.P’s mom slammed reports that her son is just “sleeping,” noting that the BIGBANG rapper’s health condition is actually getting worst. The star’s mother tearfully shared that T.O.P may be close to dying. She also revealed that her son is wearing an oxygen mask and may be at risk for brain damage.
