CeleBeat reports that Universe 9 members attacks Frieza in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 95 in an attempt to take him down so he can't join the tournament. Apparently, Goku will fight together with the former emperor but it seems that there's someone watching in a distance. Quitela, the God of Destruction from Universe 4 has a secret plan and episode 96 sees Frieza ditching Universe 7 to join team Universe 4 instead.

Frieza's sudden betrayal leaves team Universe 7 missing another fighter for the "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power. That said, episode 96, which is titled "Emergency Again! The Last Warrior is HIM?" leaves Goku recruiting other warrior to complete the ten-warrior team. Fans are convinced that the Saiyan will have Yamcha in the team to replace Frieza.

"Dragon Ball Super" fans believe that the former desert bandit and Bulma's ex-boyfriend will complete team Universe 7 as everyone knows that he is always there when needed. Comic Book reports that Toru Furuya, Yamcha's voice actor, recently hinted of the character's return to the series. "While I can't say any details yet, today I got worn-out talking a lot as Yamcha," he tweeted. "I have to do my best tomorrow too."

Meanwhile, a new rule in the "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power might change the universes' strategies. It says that those who fall off the battle arena will be wiped out automatically. Another spoiler also suggests that the participating teams will be divided into two groups in an attempt to defeat Universe 7.
