People are already looking forward to the next season of "Outlander" and it looks like they will not have to wait long. The Starz series is close to completing production and should release a new trailer by the end of the month. But is it possible that "Outlander" Season 3 stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are not yet ready to leave South Africa? Some believe that the real Claire and Jamie Fraser have fallen in love with the location and might want to spend more time around Cape Town once the new season has wrapped.

According to CarterMatt, "Outlander" Season 3 is already expected to finish production within the week. This would mean that the cast and crew of the Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe series can finally head back home. However, some of the Scottish crew might not be too eager to leave South Africa just yet. Executive producer Ronald D. Moore has just revealed that most of the production team have fallen in love with the new set.

Ronald D. Moore recently spoke to International Business Times about how different "Outlander" Season 3 will be compared to its predecessors due to the move to South Africa. "You can see all the people, all the Scots in the crew, were out like baking in the sun and getting sunburned because they were just so in love with seeing the sun for a change," the executive producer shared. Could Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe feel the same way and decide to stay behind in Cape Town once filming is completed?

Fans who have been following Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe on social media are definitely aware that the "Outlander" Season 3 stars are enjoying themselves in South Africa. Heughan has recently posted a photo of the two playing tennis together (via Twitter). Some believe that the real Claire and Jamie Fraser might want to spend a few more days out in the sun in Cape Town once they are done working on the Starz series. The third season of "Outlander" is expected to premiere in September.
