The popular socialite was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which is very common in pregnant women and can be life-threatening if left untreated.

Earlier reports from Celebeat suggest that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West want to add one more member in the family but since the reality star would be in danger if she gets pregnant, the couple resorts to surrogacy. It can be recalled when the socialite underwent a surgery in an attempt to have a safe pregnancy to no avail. The only option that the couple has, is to get a surrogate, which is already happening according to reports.

An insider close to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West told People that the couple has hired a surrogate mother to carry their baby. Fans can recall when both Khloé Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen offered to be the surrogate. "I would be her surrogate in a second. I really enjoyed the pregnancy process - I loved it," Teigen told Access Hollywood. "Yes. In a heartbeat."

There's no more information disclosed about the hired surrogate of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to carry their next baby. However, a source previously revealed that the couple is considering age and race of the surrogate. It is said that there would be more discussions about surrogacy but it seems that the couple has decided.
