Since "Rick and Morty" season 3 aired unannounced on April Fool's Day, fans are quiet anxious as they wait for any good news anytime soon. Although it was previously reported that the next episode would come out in the summer, most fans can't help but wonder whether there will be another one coming. Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland are known for fighting almost all the time over the storyline of the series. Some fans suggest that it could be about their creative differences that delay the production of the series, which can lead to series cancellation.

Recently, reports claim that the creators are experiencing difficulties finishing the necessary requirements including the script for "Rick and Morty" season 3. It is said that Harmon and Roiland are facing more challenges getting the storyline done. "But the truth in this case is so very boring. I will put it to you as objectively as I can, though we aren't talking about an auto plant," Harmon took to Twitter. "The reason S3 took long is because it took long to write, because it was S3 of a show that we were scared to make worse than S2 or S1."

That said, fans are terrified of the idea that "Rick and Morty" season 3 is in danger of cancellation. Although there were already theories about the next episodes of the popular show, fans are still not thrilled over Harmon's recent post on Twitter. According to Celebeat, the third installment's upcoming episodes will feature the return of the Evil Morty or Eye Patch Morty. He was first seen during the first season but fans never saw him again.

One of the writers of "Rick and Morty" season 3 previously said that they are all determined to fulfill fans' wishes and this includes the Evil Morty that is set to return this season. However, with Harmon's recent revelation, everyone is certainly nervous. Nonetheless, let's just wait and see. There might be surprises coming soon!
