Karl Lagerfeld Loves Duchess Kate Middleton, But Her Sister Pippa? Not So Much

Pippa Middleton can do no wrong! (in our eyes)

The 28-year-old Brit has garnered millions of fans after she displayed her seriously toned backside at her sister's fairy-tale wedding to Prince William in 2011, just don't expect Karl Lagerfeld to jump on the Pippa bandwagon.

"I don't like the sister's face." The fashion luminary said of Pippa. " She should only show her back." Ouch!

However, the 78-year-old adores Duchess Kate Middleton. "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy [William] . . . I like that kind of woman. I like romantic beauties." He gushed to the Sun about the royal maiden.

The Chanel director has been known to ruffle a few feathers in the past. Just last year, he had a few choice words for talented British singer, Adele. "She is a little too fat," said Lagerfeld. " but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

He later issued a public apology to the "Someone Like You" singer. "I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer," he said. "Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought."

Lagerfeld has endured a lengthy battle with his own weight. "I lost over 30 kilos [more than 65 pounds] over 10 years ago and have kept it off," he said in his apology to Adele. "I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance."

Perhaps, Lagerfeld should take a vow of silence until he learns how to play nice.
