Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Are Back Together [Report]

Robert Pattinson, 26, and Kristen Stewart's love may turn out to be eternal after all. According to The Sun, the "Twililight" couple have rekindled their romance over the weekend after a tearful pow wow.

"Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake," the source told The Sun. After the 22-year-old awkward beauty admitted she made a "stupid mistake," they "pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other."

"Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other," the source continued.

Rob and Kirsten split a few months ago after US weekly released a series of lusty shots of the young starlet canoodling with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, 41.

Stewart - who immediately released a heartfelt apology to Pattinson after the news broke received the brunt of the blow from fans, while Sanders, her much older cohort, escaped practically unscathed.

Both Stewart and Pattinson retreated from public view following the scandal but their work soon propelled them into the spotlight. Pattinson put on a brace face for the release of his latest film "Cosmopolis" and Stewart premiered her film "On The Road" at the Toronto film festival, just last week.

Stewart alluded to the fate of their relationship while walking the red carpet at the TIFF, when asked about their status, she simply replied "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine."

The duo are "focusing on themselves" and  are reportedly neighbors to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pit as they are now living in a secluded compound in Los Angeles.

The timing of their reconciliation is quite convenient, don't you agree? They've reunited just in time for the last installment of the Twilight Saga, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" which is poised to hit theaters Nov.16.

Twihards must be beside themselves now that R-Patz and K-stew are once again an item.
