West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar has been making big waves with his second studio album, "Good kid, M.A.A.D. City." Now even pop queen Lady Gaga is getting jumping on the Black Hippy train with a cover and music video for Lamar's "B*tch Don't Kill My Vibe."

Here's Gaga's soulful cover, produced by DJ White Shadow:

And here's the original version from Kendrick Lamar, who worked closely with his mentor, Hip Hop godfather Dr. Dre:

If you listen to both you'll notice that Gaga couldn't help but inject a bit of her own persona and humanistic message into the song. The original song's hook begins with the line "I am a sinner who's probably gonna sin again." Gaga's version begins with the same lyrics, but towards the end she replaces Lamar's lyric with one of her own, singing, "I am a human, who's probably gonna fall again."

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time in recent memory we've seen Kendrick Lama and Lady Gaga show up in the same sentence. At the Pitchfork Music Festival this year Lamar was joined onstage briefly by Lady Gaga. Watch the performance here.

Kendrick Lamar's "Good kid, M.A.A.D. City" was released on October 22 by by Top Dawg, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records. The record is a concept album, which tells the story of Lamar's youth in Compton, California with individual songs telling separate stories, interconnected by several skits.

The album features members of Black Hippy, a rap supergroup which includes Lamar along with fellow rappers Ab Soul, Schoolboy Q and Jay Roc, as well as Jay Rock, Drake, MC Eiht, Anna Wise and Dr. Dre.

Before the official album release, two songs, "The Recipe" and "Swimming Pools (Drank)" were promoted as single, with "Swimming Pools" winning some success on the charts. "B*tch Don't Kill My Vibe" debuted at number 110 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
