Even if almost everyone in the real and virtual world are constantly bashing Miley Cyrus for her MTV Video Music Awards performance, Cyrus's manager, Larry Rudolph, told Us Weekly that the former Disney star and her posse "couldn't have been happier."

Rudolph told Us Weekly that despite the fallout of Cyrus's lewd appearance and frolics on Sunday, August 25, the singer and her group are proud of her duet with Robin Thicke and called it "daring."

"We were all cheering from the side of the stage," Rudolph added. "It could not have gone better. The fans got it. The rest eventually will."

During the second-half of her performance, the 20-year-old singer stripped down to nude colored latex underwear. In addition to that, she rubbed up against Thicke and even played provocatively with a giant foam finger.

Other celebrities and fans reacted with shock and disgust over the behavior of Cyrus. But other celebrities like Justin Timberlake defended Cyrus' performance. "It's the VMAs, what did you guys expect?" he said during a radio interview on Tuesday, Aug. 27. "I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she's young. She's letting everyone know that she's growing up. I just think it's the VMAs. It's not like she did it at the Grammys."

Cyrus's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus told Entertainment Tonight that he also supported his daughter's performance.

"Of course I'll always be here for Miley. Can't wait [to] see her when she gets home. She's still my little girl and I'm still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change."
