Mario Lopez, Courtney Lopez Welcome Baby Boy!

Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Lopez  welcomed their second child, Dominic Lopez in Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 9. The baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 oz. which the proud parents confirmed in a statement via EXTRA early Tuesday. The statement also said that the "mother and baby are doing well."

"It's a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please welcome Dominic Lopez to the world!" the EXTRA host tweeted. "Couldn't be happier... @CourtneyMLopez & baby are doing just fine... :)"

After an hour of the birth announcement, the proud father tweeted, "I am in heaven right now.... And in a bar. #CelebratingDominicLopez #BabyLopezNumber2."

Mario and Courtney got married in December 2012. They announced that they were expecting their second child in late February. The 39-year-old host said that he was hoping for a baby boy this time. "I already have a girl, so if we have a boy that would be nice. But I won't be disappointed if we don't," Mario told Us Weekly.

The then-pregnant Courtney said "Although I'm hoping it's like riding a bike and that I'll just remember what I did with Gia, because now all the newborn stuff she obviously doesn't need anymore. So I try to think what did I use for this and how did I know that. Hopefully it'll come back to me."
