Chaz Bono has achieved his weight loss goal. One year ago, he weighed in at 250 pounds and was advised on The Doctors to lose "between 50 and 80 pounds." Bono returned to the show on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to share the secret to how he lost weight, according to Us Weekly.

The 44-year-old looked trim and toned. He is the son of Cher and Sonny Bono. The most important aspect of this event was that Chaz said he felt really good.

"I just feel much more comfortable in my skin now," Bono shared (through Entertainment Tonight). "Everything is easier. Everything physically is easier. Everything feels better. And then emotionally, I just feel more comfortable and more confident."

The Doctors assisted Bono into having a healthy regimen since last November.  A year ago, Bono was warned about endangering his life because of high cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

The LGBT activist told The Doctors a year ago that he was "out of control" with his diet.  But Dr. Travis told him that  "Now is the time. Failure is not an option."

Bono admitted, "I'm not going to say it was easy, but I've had so much support. It's made it doable and up until now it hasn't been, so thank you."
