'Days of Our Lives' News: Guy Wilson Confirms Casting as Will Horton

Guy Wilson has confirmed that he is the new Will Horton on Days of Our Lives according to Daytime Confidential.

The site reported that Wilson took to his Facebook page on Sept. 13 and confirmed the speculation. He offered his utmost respect to his predecessor Chandler Massey. Massey vacated the role of the openly gay character in August. He was in the role for three years and won two consecutive Daytime Emmy awards.

Yes, I am the new 'Will Horton' on "Days of Our Lives". This is a dream come true for me. But I do have some very big shoes to fill; Chandler Massey's talent is beyond measure. I've always admired Chandler's work and to now follow in his footsteps is truly an honor. I am so excited to share this adventure with all of you!!!

Wilson also took to Twitter to share his excitement with fans. He will air in January.
