Katy Perry Jokes About BFF Rihanna's Using Pot and Staying Up All Night

Katy Perry couldn't resist telling a playful jab with her BFF Rihanna while she was being interviewed by Elle Canada, Us Weekly reported.

While talking about her own favorite ways on how to de-stress, the "Roar" singer brought up her BFF in the music industry.

She said with a wink: "I think that Rihanna always looks so fresh and I'm like, 'How do you do that? We all know how much pot you smoke! And you don't sleep because you're on Instagram at four o'clock in the morning!'"

The two music icons reconnected during an intimate dinner in NYC's West Village on Monday, Aug. 12. The two have always been open about their friendship. However, the dynamic duo had a falling out earlier this year as it was reported that Rihanna was back together with ex Chris Brown.

"They aren't tight anymore because Katy doesn't approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown," an insider told Us Weekly at that time.

25-year-old "Diamonds" singer has since separated from Brown, 24. Meanwhile, 28-year-old Perry reunited with on-again off-again boyfriend, John Mayer, 35.

Mayer and Perry recently collaborated on the song "Who You Love," to which Perry added a tiny "love giggle." 

"It's like the ones that Mariah Carey had in 1990 and stuff like that," she told the host of Morning Mash Up last month. "Yeah, I think I was going for that, I think I was just so happy. I love that song!"
