TR Knight Married to Boyfriend, Katherine Heigl Attends Knight’s Wedding

Congratulations to TR Knight and longtime boyfriend, Patrick. The two tied the knot on Friday, Oct. 4 in an intimate ceremony in front of family and friends, Us Weekly reported.

"It [was] very small and quiet," an insider revealed to Us Weekly. One of the famous faces to attend the former Grey's Anatomy star's wedding is none other than his close friend Katherine Heigl and Kate Walsh. The two actresses flew in for the ceremony, the source added. No other details were made available.

Heigl even tweeted about attending a wedding in upstate New York. In fact, she shared a photo of herself with Walsh in a photobooth. "Having the time of my life at said wedding with @katewalsh [husband] @joshkelley Kate's amazing fella Chris & my girl Chey!" she wrote in the caption.

Knight is currently appearing as Mercutio in an off-Broadway production of "Romeo & Juliet," according to Us Weekly, but missed shows Friday and Saturday.

"[The] cast wishes they could go too, but they all congratulated him," the source said of his R&J co-stars.

Knight came out in 2006 while he was still on the show, She Knows reported.

"I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there," Knight told PEOPLE at the time. "While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."
