Kylie Minogue and Spanish Model Boyfriend Andres Velencoso Break Up After 5 Years of Dating

Kylie Minogue and longtime boyfriend Andres Velencoso have broken up, Us Weekly reported.

The Australian-born singer and the Spanish model dated for five years.

"It was more of a time thing -- they didn't get much of it together," a friend of the couple revealed . "There was no fallout, they're still friends, just not lovers anymore."

"She's doing alright -- she throws herself into her work during times like this and she's got so much work going on at the moment," the source added.

In July 2010, the international pop star talked about Velencoso two years into their relationship. "I'm in a great place right now. I feel very comfortable. No plans, no ring, none of that," she told Us Weekly. "As for marriage, I'm not one of those girls who had my heart set on wearing the dress and walking down the aisle, but it will be nice, yeah!"

The 45-year-old singer was previously linked to actor Olivier Martinez who had just welcomed his first child with wife Halle Berry this month. The two called it quits in 2007 but the actor remained by the singer's side when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. Since then, she's been in remission.
