Kelly Clarkson Pregnant, Expecting Baby With Brandon Blackstock

Kelly Clarkson is pregnant with her first child, Us Weekly reported Tuesday.

Clarkson took to Twitter to announce that she and husband, Brandon Blackstock, would be welcoming a child. It will be the first child for the 31-year-old singer. Blackstock has two children from a previous relationship.

The American Idol singer married Brandon Blackstock, 36, on Oct. 20. The 31-year-old and Blackstock wed at the private Blackberry Farm in eastern Tennessee. She carried a bouquet of flowers made of yellow dusty miller blooms and purple statice blossoms. Her dress, according to her stylist, was also an extension of Clarkson's personality. Steph Ashmore said that it "Jane Austen-meets-country-relaxed feel."
Earlier in the month, she let it be known that she and her new husband were trying for children. On the Nov.11 episode of Jay Leno, she announced that the couple were practicing like rabbits for a child.
"[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!" she told Leno, laughing. "We do, we do. We're trying, trying, trying. We have two kids, and they're so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five."
