'Teen Mom 3' Star Briana Dejesus Gets Engaged On Christmas

Briana Dejesus and her boyfriend Jay Hendrix are engaged. The Teen Mom 3 star, who fans first met on 16 & Pregnant's fourth season, announced the news to fans on Wednesday, Christmas Day, by showing off her diamond engagement ring on social media.

"Merry Christmas to me," Briana wrote on Instagram along with the photo of her ring.

Although Briana, who is the mother of two-year-old Nova, hasn't spoken any more about the ring, or the engagement, that's not surprising. Even though she exposed her life for an entire season of Teen Mom 3, Briana has stayed pretty mum on her relationship.

Since the beginning of her relationship with Jay, Briana has kept things private, only tweeting photos and sweet messages now and again -- a far cry from some of her over sharing costars.

What fans do know about Briana and Jay is that they have been dating since May of 2012 and moved in together a year later. Then, in September, Briana appeared to be have marriage on the brain, sending a hint to Jay by re-tweeting a message from a fan which read, "Put a ring on it." Months later, Briana's costar, Katie Yeager, spoke about the pair tying the knot as well, telling them both, "I call bein the best man."

Meanwhile, Briana's daughter's father, Devoin Austin, remains in jail following an arrest for drug possession and burglary back in September.

On 16 & Pregnant, fans saw Devoin's dark side and after the show wrapped, he appeared to continue his bad behavior, which led to plenty of drama between him and Briana with regard to his visitation with their daughter. Over the summer, Briana vented about their issues.

"Nova DONT need to know her real dad bc her REAL dad ain't willing to get to know her! Plain and simple," she wrote, also adding, "Real sad that my daughter gets overly joyful and screams [Jay]'s name yet when it comes to her poor excuse of a father...she's terrified."
