Kristen Bell Talked About Shooting A S*x Scene While Being Pregnant

In an appearance on Conan on Tuesday, Jan. 22, Kristen Bell discussed having to shoot sex scenes with onscreen partner Adam Brody for House of Lies while she was seven months pregnant.

The actress was pregnant with her daughter Lincoln during the filming of the sex scenes. Her baby bump was later edited out of the shots, E! News reported.

"We had to shoot the sex tape, and I was seven months pregnant at that time," she recalled. "They were like fitting me in these negligees, and I had this huge beer belly, huge gut and I was pretending to act in a sex tape."

"Adam Brody affectionately refers to our sex scenes as our threesomes because my belly was just on top," Bell chuckled. "And now I can forever look at my daughter and say, 'Oh, you were present for that!'"

Conan O'Brien also asked how did her husband Dax Shepard took care of her when she was pregnant.

"Dax mentioned that he loved it when you were pregnant," O'Brien commented during the interview. "What was that all about?"

"He said he likes some meat on my bones," Bell said. "First of all he phrased it as, 'There's more of you to love."

"One time he did say, 'It feels like I'm cheating on you,' and that, I think, was the ticket," she said. "Because he felt like he was with a completely different woman, which that's pretty exciting if you're married. You can feel like you're with someone else, so he loved it."
