Melissa Joan Hart is opening up about her past in a new interview with Giuliana Rancic.

On tonight's Beyond Candid with Giuliana, Hart is dicussing her wild life away from the cameras.

Although most would agree that Hart embodies a good girl persona, she hasn't always lived her life out like that of her beloved on-screen roles, including that of Clarissa Darling and Sabrina Spellman.

"It wasn't that I wasn't a bad girl or that I was too much of a good girl," she explained in a sneak peek at the special. "It was that I never got caught."

Besides that one time Hart snuck Britney Spears into a nightclub back in the 90s, Hart has managed to go under the radar -- and it's a good thing, because, as she admitted to Giuliana, she was involved with drugs in the past.

In the hour-long special, Hart recounts the events leading up to a Maxim Magazine photo shoot. Hart was nervous about the shoot to begin with, so she went out on the town with friends.

However, this wasn't just an average night out. This particular night, Hart and her friends visited the Playboy Mansion party where they did ecstasy to take the edge off.

"You're in underwear so I was feeling a little shy," Melissa recalled. "I actually ended up rolling with some friends, doing some ecstasy and going in a limo to my first Playboy Mansion party."

The next morning, after realizing what she had done, Hart immediately regretted her drug use, and when it came time to shoot, she was feeling the wrath of the previous night.

"I've never really done a man's magazine before," she said. "I didn't realize what kind of work went into a photoshoot."

Beyond Candid with Giuliana aired Feb. 17, on E! at 8 p.m.
