Are Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling Planning To Have A Baby In 2014?

Eva Mendes has reportedly caught baby fever.

After spending tons of time with her close friend, January Jones, and her son Xander, 2, Mendes allegedly is considering having a child and wants to do so with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Ryan Gosling.

Although the pair has had their ups and downs in recent months, Mendes is ready to start a family and is hoping that she can get Gosling on board with doing so.

"She's going overboard with her supportive relationship with January, who has her hands full as a young mother at the moment," a source revealed to Radar Online on March 10. "Eva seems obsessed with proving to Ryan that she's ready to start a family."

According to the source, Mendes "repeatedly passed on the idea of having children" with her former beau, George Augusto, whom she dated from 2002-2010, but now that she's spent quality time with Jones and Xander, things have changed.

Mendes and Gosling have been dating since Sept. 2011.

Prior to Mendes, Gosling dated actress Sandra Bullock from 2002 to 2003, and Rachel McAdams from 2005 to 2007.
