Pregnant Tila Tequila Splits From Her Baby Daddy Thomas Paxton Whitaker

Tila Tequila has reportedly broken up with her 42-year-old baby daddy, Thomas Paxton Whitaker.

Just under three months into her pregnancy, the former reality star is once again a single lady, and according to Whitaker, it was all over his past financial trouble.

“Tila and I are not together as a couple and we are no longer pursuing a relationship with each other,” Whitaker told Radar Online on April 28. “She definitely isn’t living with me.”

Last week, after Tequila's pregnancy news was made public via Facebook, Whitaker came forward, confirming he was her unborn child's father. At the same time, his past bankruptcy and other money troubles were exposed.

In the April 24 report by Radar Online, it was revealed that Whitaker had filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Nov. 2007 and has had three liens and judgements against him totaling $6,407.

Although Tequila was reportedly aware of Whitaker's past prior to Radar's report, Whitaker claims that once his issues were exposed, Tequila's opinion of him, and of their relationship, changed.

“Somehow because I went through hard times like a lot of other people when the economy took a decline, and had to file for bankruptcy, I’m somehow unsuitable to be connected to [Tequila] in a relationship.”

Tequila, who is due to give birth to her and Whitaker's child in November, seems to be doing fine post-split, and recently tweeted to fans, saying she was "so happy" and excited for her "new beginnings."
