Snooki 'Jersey Shore' Interviews: Nicole Polizzi Admits To Being Drunk During Filming

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was reportedly drunk during the majority of filming on Jersey Shore—and not just during her scenes with the cast.

During an interview with Access Hollywood Live, the 26-year-old reality star opened up about her wild ways on the hit MTV series, which aired on MTV from 2009-2012

"I was probably drunk!" Polizzi joked, via Us Weekly, when guest host Hoda Kotb acknowledged how composed she seemed compared to past television appearances. "I did every interview drunk...it was literally like a party stage. It was like, 'This is awesome.' So I would drink all the time."

Polizzi certainly took advantage of being at the Shore on MTV's paycheck, but after meeting her now-fiance, Jionni LaValle, she completely turned her life around. After getting engaged and welcoming her first child (Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, born Aug. 2012), Polizzi settled down into family life. Currently, she is pregnant with her second child, a girl, and planning to marry LaValle shortly after the child's birth later this year.

Despite her behavior on the show, which included an arrest for public intoxication, Polizzi has no regrets and said she is quite thankful to the series for making her the woman she is today.

"I don't regret it because it's brought me to where I am today," Polizzi told Kotb of her past on Jersey Shore. "I had to go through all of that crap to get to where I am."

And as for her children growing up and watching all the drama play out on Jersey Shore's six seasons, Polizzi told Kotb that she's not worried about how her kids will respond to the show. In fact, she believes it will be a great lesson for them.

"If they see it, I'm just gonna be like, 'This is what not to do,'" Polizzi explained. "'Learn from my mistakes. And if you ever need me, just call me.'"
