Although other celebrities' mistresses have had their photos plastered all over the web and in magazines, Goodhand is a completely mystery nearly one year after her interview with Us Weekly, in which she exposed McDermott as a cheater.

"One rumor that keeps popping up is questioning if Emily Goodhand is a real person," The Examiner reported on Monday. "Apparently, she cannot be located. She doesn't have any social media accounts in her name. Many believe there is a good reason she doesn't have a social media account- she doesn't exist. If Emily doesn't exist, why is Tori always crying about her? Is it possible Tori made up the whole affair to get attention?"

While fans may never know the truth about Goodhand, or whether or not she exists, there have been reports claiming she once attended an event in Toronto, but, for whatever reason, there were no photos of the event shared online. Some sites have claimed to have obtained photos of the mystery woman, but still, there has been no solid proof of her existence.

During the reunion special for the first season of True Tori, both Spelling and McDermott addressed allegations of having created the alleged mistress in an effort to land their reality show.

"I understand why people would think that, but she exists," McDermott explained.

"I don't know who would fake something to have this to happen to your life. My family was, and still is, in complete devastation over this," Spelling added. "I wouldn't wish this on anything."
