Katy Perry at the 2014 ARIA Awards in See-Through Floral Skirt Sans Undies Thrills Aussie Fans

Katy Perry who was in Sydney for the 28th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Music Awards on Wednesday night thrilled her young Australian fans by stopping and posing with them for countless rounds of selfies on the red carpet before making her way for the opening ceremonies and the evening's main event.

The 30-year-old Perry was seen mingling with the fans wearing a two-piece ensemble comprised of a halter top and a completely sheer netted skirt with strategically placed black and purple floral appliqués, sans underwear, complemented with royal purple pumps and a knotted metallic blue headband. A deep eggplant-colored statement lip completed Perry's look for the evening.

During a segment in the ARIA program, Perry who was presenting the "Best Female Artist Award," proclaimed on stage her love for Australia, saying, she was feeling that "I'm becoming an honorary Australian of sorts." Jokingly, she added: "I have decided I will no longer use straws in my chocolate milk, I will use Tim Tams. No longer will I spread my bread with butter, I will spread it with Vegemite. No longer will I eat plain old chicken, I will eat kangaroo. Actually that's disgusting. You guys eat something that is on your flag."

Through the evening, Perry switched her look three times, putting on next a strapless black mini dress embellished with antique brooches then an asymmetric dress, as she worked the red carpet, presented awards and posed with fans, according to Daily Mail.

Aside from attending the 2014 ARIA Awards, being in Australia is part of the program in Perry's "Prismatic World Tour." She has already performed in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney and will be visiting other Australian cities soon.

On February 1, Katy Perry will be doing the coveted half-time show at the upcoming NFL Super Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Aside from several number one hits, Perry has an enormous fan base, with over 58 million followers on Facebook and over 45 million on Twitter.
