Emma Watson is all grown up now! The former Harry Potter star is shaking off the brainy girl image she used to play for more serious roles. One of these is her new drama Regression where she will be going topless.

The movie tells the story of a father who is arrested for sexually abusing his daughter. Watson stars alongside the likes of Meryl Streep and Ethan Hawke.

According to KPopStarz, the movie is set in 1990 at a small town in Minnesota where Detective Bruce Kenner (Hawke) is investigating the case of a woman named Angela (Watson) where she accused her father John Gray (David Denick) of sexual abuse. Though he pleads guilty, the father does not remember the crime. During a regression performed by a psychologist named Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) a bigger problem is revealed.

Though the movie won't be premiering in theaters until August 2015, the movie is currently being previewed in the U.S and racking up mixed commentaries from the viewers. According to New York Daily, some of them are expression concerns over Watson's revealing scene where she goes topless though some says that her breasts were "partially obscured".

This is not the first time Watson made unusual career choices to steer her away from her well-loved role as the brainy Hermione Granger. She previously starred alongside Percy Jackson star, Logan Lerman in Noah, graced the screen as a stealing fashionista in the Bling Ring and will also appear in the political drama Colonia Dignidad. The star also made headlines when she delivered a highly talked-about-speech regarding feminism during a United Nations meeting last September with an accompanying hashtag #HeForShe.

Currently, Emma Watson was named as the Ms. Foundations Top Feminist Celebrity of 2014 alongside the likes of Laverne Cox, Rachel Maddow, Beyonce, Cher, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Meryl Streep, Mindy Kaling, and Ann Curry.
