Lea Michele greets the Year 2015 in Mexico with boyfriend

Stars have welcomed the new year in different ways and what perfect way for Lea Michele to start hers by having a fun trip to Mexico with boyfriend Matthew Paetz.

The pair were seen strolling down the beach, clearing in love and sporting hot bods with Michele in a tiny white bikini and Paetz showing off his flawless abs.

The 28-year-old Glee star also topped off the vacation by posting a photo of her topless but with her overlooking the beautiful tropical terrain and bearing the caption, "Let's do this 2015!" quotes US Weekly. However, the shot also served as a minor déjà vu case for followers as she had posted a similar shot last year except with her in a tiny black bikini. Last year's shot was taken six months after her co-star, series love interest and off-screen boyfriend, Cory Monteith, died of drug overdose.

Aside from that shot, the star did not fail to keep her loyal followers posted of their vacation getaway and even took the time to wish her followers a happy new year. "Looking back on 2014 and I couldn't be more grateful... So many amazing experiences and adventures... I feel truly blessed and thankful to be surrounded each day by the most incredible friends and family who have been with me through thick and thin... Here's to an amazing 2015," ABC News quoted from her social media.

Michele and Paetz met over a year ago during the filming of the singer's "On My Way" music video last April 2014 which was then followed by a whirlwind romance. Currently, the couple is living in together since September that year.

In a short week's time, the final season of Glee will premiere wherein Michele, in the role of Rachel Berry, will be singing their cover of Frozen's "Let It Go".
