'Scorpion' CBS Season 1 Episode 14 Walter & His Team Help An Injured Agent Recover His Memory To Stop The Launch On US of Certain Weapons of Mass Destruction

CBS' Scorpion Season One's 14th episode which airs Monday, Jaunuary 18, at the 9 PM time slot on CBS is entitled "Forget Me Nots." Directed byJann Turner from a script written by Nick Santora and Alex Katsnelson, it will follow Team Scorpion as they do what they must to jog the memory of an injured former Secret Service agent who is their only hope of preventing weapons of mass destruction being launched from a secret U.S. nuclear silo. Meanwhile, Paige is torn when her ex-husband Drew suggests that moving to Maine might be the best for their nine-year-old genius son Ralph.

Team Scorpion is led by Elyses Gabel's Walter O'Brien, a genius with a 197 IQ. With him are Eddie Kaye Thomas as behavioral expert Dr. Toby Curtis, Ari Stidham as the human calculator Sylvester Dodd, and Jadyn Wong as Happy Quinn, a mechanical genius who can fix anything. Robert Patrick stars as Agent Cabe Gallo of the US Department of Homeland Security who recruits Walter and his team to help the government in tackling difficult missions that arise that the main government organizations do not have the manpower or technological capability to handle, like tracking stolen nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction. Pop singer, songwriter and actress Katharine McPhee is cast as Paige Dineen, the single mother of the nine-year-old boy genius Ralph, played by Riley B. Smith who helps Walter and his team in interacting with normal people. Her ex-husband Drew is played by recurring guest star Brendan Hines.

Also guesting for episode 14 are David James Elliott (as Bruce), Navid Negahban (as Agent Khara), Omid Zader (a Gadhi), Thai Douglas (as a doctor), Monique Barajas (as a nurse), along with Grinnell Morris, Aaron Krebs, Chad Davis, Catharine Kamei, and Ray Stefanelli.

In related news, Scorpion, as with NCIS: New Orleans and Madam Secretary, has just been renewed for a second season. Scorpion, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is the No. 3-ranked new series of the season with 14.5 million total viewers and it has helped improve the network's Monday fortunes by 61 percent in total viewers and 21 percent in adults 18-49.
