Samsung and tech fans are waiting anxiously for Samsung Galaxy S6, which is being speculated to have some super features and a new design as well. Samsung Galaxy S6 has been codenamed as 'Project Zero' because the Samsung team is planning to re-launch the device and the Galaxy line as a 'fresh start'. Close on the lines of Galaxy Alpha, the S6 would also have metal chassis. Basically the plan is to have a device that would be able to compete against the recently launched iPhone 6 not only in terms of functionality and design as well.

The Galaxy S5 was seen widely as a flop, and the Samsung team is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that its sequel would fare better in the market especially when it is competing against the likes of Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The new phone from the Samsung stable would have a screen resolution of 2650X1440 pixels and a QHD display. It would also have a powerful 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core Central Processing Unit and Adreno 430 GPU. The rear camera would have a 20 MP camera with the facility to capture 4K video! Along with these hardware specifications, it would also boast of fingerprint reader and a heart-rate monitor. The Operating System would be Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is the latest from the Android stables as well.

It is also speculated to have curved edge display, which has been copied from Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note Edge has the curved edge display and it was a hit in the market so the Samsung S6 is also planning to incorporate it in its design as well.

The price of Samsung S6 is still not known but it is being speculated to be to be comparable to Apple iPhone 6's price.
