Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havok DLC to Arrive on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows PC on February 26

Following its release for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms on January 27, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havoc expansion--the game's first downloadable content (DLC) add-on--will next arrive for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 26, Activision announced today.

The Havoc DLC contains four new multiplayer maps, called Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift, each of them with its own unique score-streaks and designed to cater to different types of shooter experiences. Gamers will also be able to get access to two new weapon, the AE4 directed energy assault rifle and its custom variant, the AE4 Widowmaker. A new co-op mode called Exo Zombies is introduced to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which will allow players take on the role of Atlas Corporation employees voiced and represented in the game by stars John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal.

Havoc is the first of four planned DLC expansions for Advanced Warfare. The other three are titled Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning. Activision has not yet announced the details for these expansions, but they are expected to likewise be adding more maps, weapons, and zombies content to the base game. A Season Pass grants buyers access to all the four multi-player DLC packs planned for release throughout 2015 (Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, Reckoning) plus early access to DLC weapons.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was released November 4, 2014. Developed by Sledgehammer Games with High Moon Studios and Raven Software, the first-person shooter video game is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game's single-player story follows Private Jack Mitchell of the US Marine Corps and his interaction with Atlas, a private military corporation that sells its services to the highest bidder. Compared with the previous games in the Call of Duty series, Advanced Warfare does not use a traditional heads-up display during gameplay. Instead, all information is relayed to the player via holographic projections from the weapon used for shooting. Aside from exo movements and other new mechanics, the general gun-play however remains unchanged. Also, after each mission, the player is given a certain amount of upgrade points based on performance which can be used to upgrade the exo suit, or weapons. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the top-selling game in the US according to NPD sales data (via Game Spot).
