‘The 100’ Season 2 Episode 12 Will Have the Sky People and the Grounder in Their First Face to Face Battle with the Mountain Men

The CW's The 100 second season's episode 12 airing on Wednesday, February 11, at the 9:00-10:00 pm time slot is entitled "Rubicon." Directed by Mairzee Almas from a script written by Aaron Ginsburg and Wade McIntyre, the upcoming episode is teasingly also captioned, "choose your path wisely."

According to the studio summary, tensions between Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her mother Abby (Paige Turco) come to a head after Clarke crosses the line. In last week's show, Clarke and Abby disagreed about how to proceed on their quest to save their friends at Mount Weather. Clarke bluntly told her mother, "You may be chancellor, but I'm in charge."

Meanwhile, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) will help Bellamy (Bob Morley) navigate Mount Weather. As seen in last week's show, Clarke told Bellamy he must free the grounder prisoners since they're already inside. She also tells him to disable the acid fog from within Mount Weather. Later, she sent a message to the Mount Weather people through the captive sniper. She instructs the captive to return to Mount Weather and tell their leader that they're coming for him, that the grounder army is bigger than they think, that the reapers can't hurt them and neither can the acid fog. Following the prisoner's release, Clarke revealed her plan to Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos). She said that the more than the mountain men look outside at them, the less they'll be looking inside at Bellamy. She tells her that if Bellamy dies, they all die and he's the key.

Later in the upcoming episode, Octavia will have been prepared to fight for someone she loves. Meanwhile, things are going to reach a breaking point at Mount Weather where a coup has just taken place, with Cage having usurped his father's authority as leader of the mountain men.

Elsewhere, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) and Murphy (guest star Richard Harmon) are going to encounter a stranger who may not be what she seems according to the studio's teaser. Also, not all of the 12 who joined him in his quest to find the City of Light will make it to the end of the line.
