Iggy Azalea and her boyfriend Nick Young returned from a relaxing vacation but her mood quickly turned sour. She returned online to find pictures of her posted in her bikini and countless negative and hurtful comments on her appearance. We have all felt that way from twitter/facebook/etc and even big celebrities feel the same pain.

Iggy wrote several tweets, which you can read below, and shared that she will be taking a indefinite hiatus from twitter and all other social media. She wrote:

"Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol. / I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with long distance lense hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace. / I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that. / To become nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smiling. / But I also want to let my fans know iam taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining. / My management will tweet/run my accounts from today onwards with updates etc unless any message is signed -IA. Love you all. Peace out! / The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is."

Whether you are a fan of Iggy's music or not, I think most people would agree with her on most of what she says. No matter the person, online bullying is a very real thing and can totally impact your happiness if you let it. Good for her for unplugging for a while, so she can focus on being positive. When you think about it, it's really surprising more celebrities don't do the same thing. I guess some just are better at not even reading responses (which can be almost impossible at times.)

What do you think of Izzy's decision to leave behind social media for a while?
