Dave Coulier has to thank his buddy John Stamos as he is the only reason he got laid up in the 90's.

Coulier, who has once inspired Alanis Morisette to sing "did you forget about me, Mr. Duplicity" and a nation to say "cut it out," is not embarrassed to share the story during an interview with Boston's 103.3 FM.

"When I was a single guy, it used to be great. You'd ski in John Stamos's wake and supermodels were bouncing off of him," Coulier said, unashamed. "It was pretty special."

The duo became close playing Uncles Jesse and Joey on Full House and remain friends to this day. These days, Coulier is married - to photographer Melissa Bring - but back in the tranquil days of mullets and leather jackets, Coulier was like Stamos's storm drain, sucking up all the run-off.

It would seem that Stamos would call him up as he needs reinforcement, saying, "Hey, do you know any guys that could come over because there's five girls sitting in my pool right now and I need some help."

Coulier would then call his hockey buddies and round up a gang to help out Stamos' dilemma, where his buddies would call him as the greatest buddy ever.

Stamos has also experimented with monogamy - he was married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005 - but like a lion with his thick mane and proud gait, Stamos was born to roam free.

Coulier admits that he cannot ask a girl out as he had always been the funny guy.
