Photos have been leaked of the new 12 inch MacBook Air with Retina display due from Apple. Lots of speculations and rumors have been circulating about MacBook Air and the latest leaks confirm a lot of those.

The latest leaks display the MacBook with a ridiculously thin base. There are great chances for it to feature a Retina display. It would have a new screen size of 12 inch and an ultrafast processor.  There is a lot of anticipation that the MacBook will be released on March 9. However several indications seem to suggest the release won't be any time soon.

The MacBook would function through Intel's low power Core M processors and its trackpad design might be modified to altogether exclude a mechanical button. There are also rumors that Apple might add Touch ID to the MacBook. It may also include the Magic Mouse and magic Trackpad. Due to the extremely thin design, the Retina MacBook might have only two ports and would feature USB Type-C which would transfer dater faster than USB3 types.

The Retina would provide an immense visual experience similar to that of Retina MacBook Pro. Most rumors reveal the product to be released in mid 2015 around June.

MacBook Air would come in variant colors of Silver, Gold and Space Gray. It would also operate silently without a fan. The price of MacBook Air would range around $1099.

The news about the super thin 12 inch MacBook first came out when KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that Apple was working on a revolutionary notebook thinner than the existing MacBook Air.  Even though there was talk about its release in late 2014, there has been no official announcement from Apple yet.
