Audi has just released its 2016 Audi R8 recently and yet it is now about to show the world the R8 e-tron model which is all-electric.  Due to the numerous requests from customers, the Audi R8 e-tron will be unveiled after many years and a series of testing, not to mention developing its features.

The Audi R8 e-tron boasts of two powerful electric motors which results in combining 462 horsepower and 679 lb/feet of torque.  This enables the new R8 e-tron to accelerate to an amazing 100kilometers/hour in just 3.9 seconds.  Imagine how it feels with all its great specifications and features.

Another interesting to learn about the Audi R8 e-tron is the 450 kilometer range which doubles on the other prototypes of the R8 e-tron.  The reason for this wider range is the installation of a 92 kWh battery pack which is larger than the other types.  The electric sports car carries the battery right behind the cell of the passenger and within the tunnel at the center of the car.

What's also super about the Audi R8 e-tron is its aerodynamics which plays a vital role in the sports car's performance.  It is more energy efficient than the earlier versions of the R8.  The drag coefficient data is at 0.28.  Now that is really how powerful it is.

How to differentiate the Audi R8 e-tron from any other standard car?  The air intakes located at the front underwent redesigning done with the wheels.  Looking at them already gives you the idea how fast it is.  Also installed is a new bonnet, a newly designed bumper and a lip spoiler which comes alongside several air vents.  Note that the exhaust pipes were already taken out.
