The famous line "Who you're gonna call?  Ghostbusters!" will be heard again as talks of filming the funny movie is in the works as reported by Sony Pictures.

With the many franchise movies being shown, Sony has joined the bandwagon and created Ghost Corps to carry the films and all brandings of Ghostbusters.  With the reboot of the 1984 movie, the original director Ivan Reitman joins Dan Aykroyd, who was also the co-writer.

The Ghostbuster reboot movie is expected to hit the screens in 2016, this time with an all-female power cast with Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.  Joining them are stars from Saturday Night Live Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.  Will the charisma of these four beauties deliver the action needed in the movie?

Joining the reboot is Dan Aykroyd as co-director to Reitman.  With the four lovely ladies to direct, it will surely be a movie to look forward to.  Sony has expanded to have the Ghostbusters expanded in more ways than one.  This is to include all of the merchandise, TV shows and of course, films.

Reitman is optimistic that the new Ghostbusters will unite all fans who loved the original movie which was a success and was loved worldwide or by the universe.

There are also talks circulating that Channing Tatum will be joining the four beauties in the lead.

Dan Aykroyd is also pushing one potential movie starring four superhero-of-sort guys and even he will be the writer, producer, director and even starring in it.  He must have missed the original film he made with Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis.

So will the coming Ghostbuster movies revive the success it got during the 80s?  It will be dependent on the people who were clamoring for a sequel or a reboot and for Sony to back them up.
