During the Star Wars Celebration on April 16-19, it will feature "Star Wars: Battlefront" according to CyberAceGaming news.

The good news is given to all types of gamers to actually try out the game even before its launch and Electronic Arts (EA) is serious about it.

EA is looking for volunteer play testers to check out the game even before it is launched on April 17.  EA has announced on their Facebook page that starting April 10, the play testers will be able to enjoy the game for four hours max at the Redwood Shores in California while the other location in British Columbia is the Burnaby campus.

A non-disclosure agreement will be signed by the chosen play testers and the testing game played will not be made public.  The selected gamers will be rewarded with two games from EA as a thank-you for their participation.  They will also be the first to play the soon-to-be-launched Star Wars: Battlefront for three to four hours non-stop.  This is definitely something to brag about when they get to be chosen.

Actually, this kind of play testing is not the first time EA is doing it.  They have already done this Battlefront play tests since early this year but maybe it lacks advertisement so nobody noticed.  With the Facebook announcement, EA should expect a big turn-out of possible applicants.

If you are in California next week and you are a gamer raring to get their hands on a new game to test, go to their website and sign up.  There is also a different site for British Columbia applicants so better check the site carefully.
