The alleged romance between Prince Harry and Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark started from the former's cousin, Princess Beatrice, who set them up. The British royalty quickly denied these rumors through sources from the Palace.

Prince Harry's cousin claims that he was smitten and madly in love with the Greek princess, who happens to be his distant relative through their common royal ancestor, Queen Victoria. However, according to the Daily Mail, a source close to the Prince denied the royal affair.

The rumors came days after Prince Harry broke up with his girlfriends PR girl Astrid Harbord and F1 presenter Natalie Pinkham, Wednesday night in London.

According to a source, Harry is madly in-love with Maria-Olympia. They've been on a series of dates and are planning to go skiing in Switzerland. The source also believed that the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are supporting Prince Harry's interest in Princess Maria-Olympia. For them, she would be the best girlfriend Harry has ever had. They are delighted that Harry is happy and settled because of Princess Maria-Olympia's presence in his life.

Princess Maria-Olympia studied drama, art history, graphics and photography in London. The princess is getting a lot of attention on the European social scene, she was once featured on Tatler's cover and hailed "the most eligible girl in the world." However, a source close to the prince said, "she's yet to make an impression on him," as reported by Woman's Day.

Maria-Olympia is the daughter of Crown Princess Marie-Chantal and Crown Prince Pavlos. She was born in New York and raised in London. She has four younger brothers: 16-year-old Prince Constantine-Alexios, 14-year-old Prince Achileas-Andreas, ten-year-old Prince Odysseas-Kimon, and six-year-old Prince Aristidis-Stavros.

They would not be the first royal cousins to get together if they were to be romantically connected. Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip are both Queen Victoria's great-great grandchild.
