The stars of the hit show talked about the new season with moderator Clare Kramer. Balfe and Heughan also admitted that they are both flying out to South Africa the following day to begin shooting for the third season. Moreover, the real-life Claire Randall hinted on how the couple will be reunited in the series.

According to TVLine, Caitriona Balfe was asked whether "Outlander" Season 3 will be faithful to Claire and Jamie's reunion in Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager". Although Sam Heughan's costar didn't comment, she enthusiastically confirmed by nodding, making the audience applaud. After all, Claire found Jamie pretending to be Alex Malcolm in a printer's shop that actually smuggled liquor. Fans can rest assured that the series will represent the same scene found in the book.

Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan did more than just share "Outlander" Season 3 spoilers at ECCC 2017. According to CarterMatt, Heughan revealed he would most likely geek out if he met the young cast of "Stranger Things" Season 2. The young stars would probably be equally impressed with the actor, who showed up in nothing less than a kilt (via Twitter).

Fans will also have to wait a little longer for "Outlander" Season 3. Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan admitted that they will have to film more scenes in South Africa. The series is set to return to Starz in September.
