However, actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and BBC remain silent about the issue.

Viewers' efforts to get a "Sherlock" Season 5 is impressive but the decision is still in the hands of the network and producers of the show.

But it appears that the news has not reached Cumberbatch and Freeman yet as the actors are still mum about the "Sherlock" Season 5 petition.
