Hiro Mashima's "Fairy Tail" has been one of the best anime adaptations in history and the creator is one of those artists who apparently strive hard to deliver seamless storyline for all fans. In 2010, the anime has won Anime of the Year award of Animax Asia. Critics praised the anime's characters, visuals, English voice acting and the supporting characters. In the recent episodes, Mashima left fans astonished when he unleashed Zeref's new form and shocked most of them when he decided to kill one of the anime's major characters.

In a "Fairy Tail" YouTube video, it can be seen that Zeref looks fierce and intimidating in his new form while staring at Natsu. His new form is yet to be named but he looks holy wrapped with all white, causing Natsu to get enthralled. This gives Zeref a chance to kill Natsu.

"Fairy Tail" experts failed to predict on what happened to the last two episodes especially when Zeref carried out one of the shocking scenes in the anime series ever. Apparently, Zeref did everything he can to fulfil his mission and was able to get his hands on Mavis to extract the infamous Neo Eclipse out of her. Flashbacks were featured in the previous episode pertaining to Zeref and Mavis.

Since Zeref has successfully killed Natsu in the previous "Fairy Tail" episode, many experts believe that this could be the end of the anime series since there is nothing more to tackle about. However, there are fans who don't actually buy these theories. This is because there have been speculations in the past that the anime was about to meet its end.

In the "Fairy Tail" creator's official Twitter account, there were no indications or hints that the anime is ending soon. So, fans should consider these speculations for now as a grain of salt. Stay tuned to Celebeat for more entertainment updates.
