‘About a Boy's’ Minnie Driver Joins Cast of CBS's Pilot ‘Happy Time’ (Formerly Known as Joe Time)

Minnie Driver, 45, who currently stars as Fiona Bowa on NBC's About a Boy, has landed the female lead on the CBS comedy pilot Happy Life (aka Joe Time) according to TV Line. However, she would only be credited as a guest star in the pilot and take the Happy Life role in second position to NBC's bubble series About a Boy. Thus, if NBC renews her comedy show for a third season, she would remain with that show and CBS would have to recast for Happy Life. But if NBC opts to cancel her series, and CBS pick up Happy Life to series, she would stay on as a Happy Life series regular.Read more
