Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to the law and car accidents and the "Liz and Dick" actress' latest incident behind the wheel could land her in hot water with the law again.

Lohan was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway on June 8, 2012 when her Porsche rental collided with a truck from behind. Lohan and her assistant were taken to the hospital afterwards, where it was verified that neither of them were seriously injured. Lohan is reportedly claiming that her brakes failed and that the truck driver cut her off. The Porsche was totaled.

However, the truck driver is claiming that he did not cut Lohan off because he was already in the right lane and that she was flying down the highway and slammed into the back of him. He is also claiming that after the accident that one of Lohan's friends tried to bribe to keep him quiet about the accident and that they removed a pink bag from the car and asked that he not mention anything about the bag. The truck driver has since lawyered up.

"Him and the guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn't want to be in the media," the truck driver said. "But I'd already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene. But they packed a bag and then the limousine driver told me, 'Don't mention the bag to the cops.'"

TMZ is also reporting that Lohan lied to the police when they visited her at the hospital by telling them that she was not driving. Several eyewitnesses say that they saw Lohan and her assistant both get out of the car from the passengers side. If Lohan did lie to the police she could be charged with giving false information to the police and it could trigger a probation violation.
