Channing Tatum didn't shy away when asked by reporters about the lawsuit against him involving his new movie "Magic Mike."

"Those guys have been trying to make money off of me since I got into this business," Tatum told reporters during a press conference for the film.

Tatum went on to say that one of the dancers, London, even sold the tape.

"Literally, London was one of the guys that sold the video," Tatum continued. "Thank God that my friend (director Steven Soderbergh) here saw and we made a movie from it."

Tatum is being sued by Thomas "Awesome" Austin, London Steele and Magic Mike, who were Tatum's fellow exotic dancers when the actor was a stripper in Florida before he made it to Hollywood. They claim that the movie is more based on their lives and experiences rather than his and that they feel slighted that Tatum did not ask them to appear in the movie.

"Magic Mike" hits theaters June 29 and stars "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer. The movie revolves around a man that takes a job as stripper to earn money to break into the furniture designing industry.
