It's almost time to drop those glow-sticks. The house music trio posted an announcement on their website on Saturday that they are splitting up.

"Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that c came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved."

Swedish House Mafia, which is comprised of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso will be performing at three more venues over seas, as well as five festivals.  Their website states that "the final leg of this journey will be announced in August."

The groups members all have solo careers, but gained a huge following as a group. This past December, with one album behind them, Swedish House Mafia sold out Madison Square Garden. They also had audiences bumping along with the thumping music this spring at California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Their bid adieu has also hit the music industry hard, with some reaching out on Twitter.

David Guetta tweeted: "I just heard @swedishousemfia are gonna split. I hope it's not true They are really special."

DJ Chuckie tweeted:sad news for electronic music, I just heard that the @swedishousemfia just announced they gonna break up!

The good news is that they reportedly sold out their upcoming show at Friend Arena(35,000 tickets) in 42 minutes.

Best of luck to Swedish House Mafia. Here's hoping to a reunion in five years!
