Cruise Ship Steward Who Accused John Travolta Of Sexual Misconduct Sues Him For Assault

The cruise ship steward that accused John Travolta of trying to sexually harass while giving the actor a massage is now suing him for assault.

Fabian Zanzi was working on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in 2009.  Zanzi claims that Travolta ordered food and asked for it to be delivered to his room. When Zanzi arrived at Travolta's room, the actor allegedly asked him for a neck massage and when Zanzi complied Travolta dropped his robe, exposed himself and forcefully embraced Zanzi.

Zanzi also claims that Travolta said that he was "beautiful" and said, "Take me, I will take care of you, please." After the alleged encounter Zanzi claims that Travolta offered him $12,000 for his "discretion" and "silence."

Zanzi claims that after he reported the incident to his superiors he was not allowed to write anything down about it and was confined to a room for five days.

Travolta's lawyer, Marty Singer has called the whole lawsuit "ludicrous."

"In his handwritten report three years ago, the only physical contact he claimed occurred was allegedly touching my client's neck," Singer said. "The inappropriate conduct he alleges in his lawsuit is absent from his written report he submitted at the time. That glaring omission speaks volumes. Now, after waiting three years, and after getting paid to tell his story to the media, Mr. Zanzi has filed this absurd lawsuit."

"This is another ludicrous lawsuit with inane claims," Singer said in a statement. "It is obvious that Mr. Zanzi and his lawyers are looking for their 15 minutes of fame."

The first two masseurs that accused Travolta of trying to sexual assault them have since dropped their cases.
