It was rumored actresses Mia Wasikowska, and Zoe Aggeliki were battling one another to play Johanna Mason, on the second installment of "the Hunger Games" trilogy, 'Catching Fire,' but Jenna Malone swooped in, and claimed the coveted role. The actress is reportedly in negotiations for the movie, which is set to hit theaters November 22, 2013.

Apparently, actress Kristen Bell has also been eyeing the role. On a recent appearance to "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the pint-sized blonde boasted about being a "super fan" of the movie, and have even admitted to hosting "Hunger Games" themed parties.

Johanna Mason is a strong-willed character, and according to author Suzanne Collins, she possesses "a wicked ability to murder." A statement that is sure to leave 'Hunger Games' fans teetering on the edge of their seats. Her strategy for becoming victor of district 7, is playing the weak card, and killing tributes when they least expect it.

When readers are first introduced to Johanna Mason, she greets heroine Katniss Evergreen in the nude, apart from her green slippers. Since 'Hunger Games' is a kid-friendly flick, many are wondering how director Francis Lawrence will approach the sensitive scene.

Now that we've found the ax-wielding Johanna Mason, we wonder who will snatch the role of Heartthrob Finnick Odair. Stay Tuned!
